Fadzanai, aged 15, quickly made a name for herself as one of the most disciplined and hardworking students in her class and in our Girls Club. Her dedication to her studies was evident when we first met her, and it wasn’t long before she further impressed us by scoring the highest among the girls at Mugurameno Primary School on her final primary school exam.

As a result, she was selected for sponsorship and accepted to a high-achieving, all girls boarding school known for its rigorous academics and nurturing environment. While enthusiastic about this transition, Fadzanai had a slow start, scoring an average of 48% in her first term. This result, however, only motivated her to seek the extra support she needed, and by the end of the year her academic average improved to 70%.
